Happy New Year to you and yours. We have proudly marked our 40th year as a leading local languages service provider in Minnesota. We enter our fifth decade in business with a continued commitment to provide the highest level of standards, quality and reliability in all our relationships. We are grateful to our professional interpreting and translation experts, our valued clients and industry partners. Every day our dedicated language services team brings purpose and drive to their work, and so much of our success is due to their efforts.
Our thousands of interpreting and translation assignments continue in the healthcare sector. Our partnerships with Hennepin Healthcare, North Memorial Health and M. Health Fairview reflect the language access priorities of these large networks as they serve their limited English proficient (LEP) patient populations and improve healthcare outcomes for these communities.
Our experienced team of interpreters and coordinators expect to see our language access relationships expand with school districts throughout the state. Our team provides interpreting and translation support in multiple K-12 settings such as distance learning, parent-teacher conferences, special education and due process, physical and occupational therapy, early childhood programs and general communications.
We write this message at a time of unprecedented fear and uncertainty in our communities. We stand in solidarity with our nonprofit partners including the Advocates for Human Rights and the Volunteer Lawyers Network, the Minnesota Council of Churches and so many more that provide critical resources, support and hope to Minnesota’s immigrant and LEP populations.
As the need for interpreting grows, we remain committed to developing and supporting language service professionals at all stages of their careers. Together with organizations like the Upper Midwest Translators and Interpreters Association and the American Translators Association, we will strive to expand access, elevate the profession, and support the growing demand for professional language services.
